The Mini Split Company was founded in 2025 by Manuel “Manny” Pozos — a ductless specialist who grew up in the trade through the family’s San Antonio HVAC company, AC American Air, founded by Victor Pozos in 2011. For years he watched general HVAC companies treat mini splits as an afterthought.
Manny saw the same problems over and over: oversized systems, sloppy line sets, and technicians who had never been to a single ductless training course. San Antonio homeowners deserved better — a specialist who knew these systems inside and out.
So he started The Mini Split Company with a simple promise: do one thing, do it right, and treat every home like your own. That promise hasn’t changed.
